Stay accountable on the water

Set your launch ramp and return time. If you don’t check in, Marine Safe escalates from reminders to alerting your emergency contact—with your last location and a map link—so someone can act. It complements 000 and VHF Ch 16; it doesn’t replace them.

Built for Australian boaters. Ramps across Australia; favourites and “Near me” by GPS.

How it works

1

Set ramp & return time

Pick your launch ramp from the Australian list (by postcode or GPS) and set when you plan to be back.

2

Start your trip

Tap Start trip at the ramp. We run in the background so reminders and escalation still work if the app is closed.

3

Check in or we escalate

If you don’t check in, we nudge you, then prompt you to text your emergency contact with vessel, ramp, ETA and last known location. We then suggest contacting Marine Rescue if needed.

directions_boat

Trip tracking

Pick your launch ramp from Australian ramps (by postcode or “Near me” GPS), set your return ETA, then start and end trips at the ramp.

schedule

Return ETA

Set when you plan to return. We remind you at ETA, then if you don’t check in we prompt you to text your contact—with vessel, ramp, ETA and last known location.

anchor

Boat & gear

Boat details, rego and expiry; safety equipment (PFDs, EPIRB, flares, extinguisher). We check compliance before you start a trip.

contact_emergency

Emergency contacts

Primary and optional second contact. If you’re overdue, we open your SMS app with a prefilled message (vessel, ramp, ETA, last location, map link)—you tap Send.

If you don’t check in

We escalate so your contact has what they need—and so you stay accountable.
